Press Release for The Startup Business Festival Presents: Launch Fest

Johannesburg, South Africa: 01 November 2022. The Startup Business Campus has officially announced the Startup Business Festival under the theme “Launch Fest”, a hybrid event that will take place from November the 1 to the 30 of 2022, at The Mills 66 Carr St, Newtown Johannesburg. In keeping with the spirit of Global Entrepreneurship Week (18 – 24th November 2022), the Startup Business Campus with the collaborative effort of The Business Clinic has endeavored to host a month-long Startup Business Festival (a build up from 2021) in celebration of the impactful work done by its stakeholders and the entrepreneurial community at large.

The Startup Business Festival is a business ecosystem event dedicated to making entrepreneurship fashionable and attainable. It is a four weeks event that will be focusing on tech entrepreneurship in the environmental, creative & cultural, financial & economic and social space. It aims to build a community that consists of entrepreneurs, investors, community leaders, captains of industry, as well as thought and practice leaders who are committed to fostering a ripe environment for entrepreneurial activity.

This hybrid event in collaboration with resilient economy, will feature activities such as panel discussions, presentations, activations, showcases, exhibitions, launches, live performance and a hackathon offered by key stakeholders. We will be focusing on empowering young entrepreneurs to leverage sources already at their disposal, encouraging them to inculcate a strong level of agency in order to advance and actively participate in emerging markets. “This year’s festival comes at a critical time, where we are collectively trying to rebuild our economy in a better way. The festival is a fully flashed action orientated program that will have nuggets for students and professionals under the theme “Launch Fest”. As we try to build back better, we need to build back a better economy collectively, hence we will arrange tools and know how that entrepreneurs require.
